Heirloom Highlight: Plaza
Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite season of the year. It's not because I'm some pumpkin-everything fanatic, but because I can FINALLY start sharing all of the new and custom design work I have been holding on to all year long! You see, most of my brides get married late Summer into early Fall, and I cannot share invitations until AFTER the wedding celebration, which leaves me with piles of prettiness that I am itching to share!
So let's not wait any longer, okay?
Today I am sharing a black letterpress and gold foil invitation from a more recent wedding that took place at the iconic Plaza hotel in New York City. We wanted to keep the invitation as clean and elegant as posisble. No frills, all class. I've aptly named this design Plaza, and am thrilled to have it in the Heirloom Collection.
These gorgeous invitations are the perfect union of opulence and practical, ornate and clean. The invitations themselves are printed on luxuriosly double-thick, 220lb, pearl-white cotton paper. A deep black letterpress impression is paired with an elegant monogram and script details in champagne gold foil. I haven't mentioned it lately, but HEY THERE champagne gold, you're my new favorite detail ever!
The invitations were paired with digitally printed reply and accommodation cards, black envelopes with white digital address printing, and a charcoal grey belly band to hold everything together.
Also, take a look at that all French reply card. I'm fairly certain that adding French details would make even garbage a touch more classic. Ouii? Alright, maybe not garbage, but it sure is a marvelous way to make an already lovely invitation that much more chic.
If you're interested in ordering a sample of the Plaza invitation, you can go ahead and do so from the shop here.
