Heirloom Highlight: The "Haile" Lace & Navy Letterpress Wedding Invitation
I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER to share the details of this invitation! I've shared many little previews on Instagram, and a few peeks here on the blog. Just a few days ago the Haile invitation was featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper, and now I'm ready to share the full deets with you here! When my first intern, Jess, asked if I would help make her invitation dreams come true, I was SO EXCITED. Jess got married last June to her sweetheart, Chris, in an intimate celebration. Jess and Chris wanted their invitations to be sophisticated upon first glance, but to also highlight their playful personalities in unexpected ways. This invitation suite is all about the lovely details!
The entire invitation suite is printed on 220lb double thick bright white Crane's Lettra, which was the perfect opportunity to play with edge painting. Hot pink edges add a subtle, yet playful, detail to the otherwise very sophisticated design. I absolutely adore the way the pink pops when the entire suite is assembled!
Blind lace letterpress accents the navy blue letterpress on the invitation, and I had a lot of fun creating a mad libs style reply card that were interactive and fun for guests. Chris and Jess kept all of their reply cards - and I think that's such a wonderful idea! To bring the whole suite together, a navy blue ribbon was tied and sealed with a letterpress monogram tag.
You can order a sample of the Haile suite here, and don't forget to head on over to Oh So Beautiful Paper for more of this invitation.
