Salt and Pepper Shakers
I bet you didn't know that I've got a soft spot for salt and pepper shakers. It's true - from the most traditional ones to the tongue-in-cheek and kitschy ones - I love salt and pepper shakers. As a self proclaimed anti-clutter enthusiast, I've even surprised myself with my inability to turn down a good set of porcelain love birds (my current favorite set).
Here are some salt and pepper shakers that I would love to add to my collection:
1 - Jonathan Adler knows his way around pottery, and these adorable Owl shakers may be a splurge, but they are certainly hard to resist.
2 - A set of silver plated fruit would fit perfectly on a table in a kitchen nook.
3 - Growing up my grandmother had several elephants in her china cabinet, for good luck. These loving elephants will always remind me of her.
4 - Nothing is as elegant as a classic set of silver salt and pepper shakers. .
5 - I gifted my mother a set of these modern, yet traditional, salt and pepper mills last year. Every time I'm at her house, I'm reminded that I should always buy two of every gift I get her, one for her and one for myself.
6 - There a very similar pair of birds on my dining room table right now. I love how these look nestled under a vase of fresh flowers. These are a great budget option, and almost impossible to pass up! In fact, I have to share that Pier One is my favorite source for "oh my word, I need to have these!" salt and pepper shakers.
Sincerely,
