Font Friday: Didot

Wow, thank you all for the kind words and love for the new direction I took last week for Font Friday! I loved using my Font Friday selection to layout a favorite quote, and decided to do it again this week.

For the above quote, I used Didot (bold) which is one of my all-time favorite headline serif fonts. Didot is classic, streamlined, and delicate - while still being strong and commanding. I've used Didot for everything from subtle wedding invitation text, to highlighting couples names. With a touch of kerning and leading, Didot is a go-do font in the Sincerely, Jackie library.

If you don't have Didot in your library, I would highly recommend adding it. You will not regret it! You can purchase through typography.com for $299 for the full font family of 42 fonts. Or you can purchase individual fonts, starting at $35 each, through myfonts.com.
