Heirloom Highlight - Maura & Steve's Navy Letterpress Invitations - Featured in The Knot New York
It's been exactly one year and one day since Maura and Steve tied the knot! Happy anniversary you two!
Maura was one of my favorite brides in 2015 (and her mother was by far my favorite mother-of-the-bride!) - she has timeless taste and brought together the A team when it came to her vendors. Her wedding was located at the Bridgeview Yacht Club on Long Island, New York. Maura worked with one of my dearest friends, JainΓ© (of Brklyn View Photography), as her photographer, and Bridget (of Violet and Verde) as her florist. They're two of the most talented ladies I know! JainΓ© took the loveliest photos of Maura and Steve's October wedding, which was full of deep hues and bright pops of color.
I had the pleasure of creating all of Maura's wedding stationery, including her Save the Date cards, letterpress invitations, programs, menu cards, bar signs, programs and escort cards. For her invitations, she chose a crisp white cotton paper paired with deep navy blue letterpress, and gold foil accents. I absolutely adore her custom monogram and crest, which we used throughout the rest of her wedding stationery. The flowers in the crest were created by hand to bring in the floral elements from her bouquet - what a perfect detail! For the day-of items, we digitally printed items in coordinating shades of white, navy, and pops of pink - with a few gold elements (like those navy and gold menu cards!).
There was't a single detail overlooked during Maura and Steve's big day, and I am so honored to have been a part of it. Their wedding has since been featured on Style Me Pretty as well as printed in The Knot magazine! It was my first print feature and I am SO beyond excited that it was for one of my favorite couples of all time!

Happy anniversary again, Maura and Steve!!
